More of my favorite show

Stargate: Atlantis, spin-off to Stargate: SG-1 is now officially getting a season five.

After being heavily scrutinized for killing off Carson Beckett, and getting rid of Elizabeth Weir(for now), i can say whoo!

Stargate: Atlantis will presumably be starting to spin idea's in November/ December/January, before the long awaited commencement of production sometime in February/March.

I for one am glad we will be able to see the show really be able to stand on it's own and to be out from under SG-1's shadow, however this will be short lived as Daniel Jackson from SG-1 will join the show for an episode or two and then it's back to the old days as Jackson and Carter will be reminiscent of times long past.

Then once we find out whether we can get a season six pick up, VALA- god help us!!!!!!

see ya.

Stargate Universe

What a big title.

I believe this will and should be a space odyssey but Universe seriously things need to be seriously looked at. Stargate: Atlantis is the only thing potentially meriting the slogan Universe. Atlantis has an Intergalactic hyper drive and thus could establish relations with the Universe or another galaxy. Yes while Universe is a good Stargate title- it is something that should be thought about unless they were talking about going to an alternate Universe and exploring the infinitely and potentially different place.

Yes i do believe this is a strong possibility and i would like to see some platform of AU in stargate but i am not sure whether it could possibly be a strong series.

What do you think???????????

Where is Stargate heading?

Where is the Stargate heading?

I love ranting-and i picked up my skills reading Joe Mallozzi's blog.
http://josephmallozzi.blogspot.com

Is the I.O.A the wisest choice for the Stargate Program?-let's have a rant.

I believe in my heart that we need to have a governing body of obvious international participation and co-operation. The International Oversight Advisory(I.O.A.),what a crappy name for an international group, guarding the Stargate's secret existence.

The Panel made up of international delegates, with the people on the panel having a rough portfolio as demonstrated in Stargate SG-1. I am not one to bag out Stargate, in any form, but i must speak out about the extremely useless and confining I.O.A.

Why would you create more hassles for everyone?

Oh i forgot, the rating and the comedic value in bagging out Woolsey, the American official, that always makes the extremely unfortunate circumstances about him in some way. Lieutenant Colonel. John Sheppard, of the United States Air Force gets really angry with him in the episodes regarding Weir's leadership.

I don't like making him the bad guy, which he always seems to be, the senior'sh most adviser to the I.O.A who is a liaison of sorts with Stargate Command and the Atlantis expedition. HE is always the man , everyone hates.

Good Old Woolsey, I'm with the I.O.A but I'm not, how long will that last and Elizabeth Weir seems to be right at home though. Being a foreign diplomat herself, she find common ground with Woolsey, however i want her on the I.O.A not to have her a liaison or leader of the Atlantis Expedition. Dr. Weir needs to be making thing happen behind the scenes start initiatives, and then she can blame someone else, for it much like the I.O.A, and that would be an interesting Arc to pursue, but as i am unsure as to how these things are turning out with the whole new soft reset season four, we can only hope and wait.

Stay tuned as my next post will be about the conception of Stargate: Universe-(working title)
